Cyclone dust collector

Cyclone dust collector is used widely in many fields. Its operation principle is to take advantage of the centrifugal force of the air movement to separate dust from the air.

Operation principle

The mixture of air and dust go through the first pipe according to a tangential direction with the shaft and spirally move down. When it enters inside the cyclone, the air will be push outside the cyclone.
During the spiral moving up and down inside the cyclone, the dust is affected by the centrifugal force to collide on the cyclone’s wall, as a result it will lose its inertia and fall down. An exhaust valve is mounted at the bottom of the cyclone to drop the dust down to a container automatically.
